Buttery Mirchi Rice

Buttery Mirchi Rice:

Prep Time: 15 minutes Serves: 4


What you’ll need:

4 cups cooked rice of your choice (1 cup uncooked rice yields 4-5 cups of cooked rice)*

1 tablespoon butter or light olive oil

1 large sweet onion, peeled, cut in half and thinly sliced

2 tablespoons Super Mirchi Hot Sauce

Salt to taste


1. Heat the butter or oil in a sauté pan on medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden

brown, 5 to 7 minutes. Turn off heat.

2. Add the cooked rice and hot sauce. Mix well and serve.

*As an alternative, substitute couscous or quinoa for the rice.
