Baked Cauliflower, Peas & Onions

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 4


1 head of cauliflower, cut into 1-inch florets

1/8 cup olive oil

1 Tbsp Mom's Magic Splice Blend

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, peeled and diced

1/2 cup fresh or frozen peas (thawed)

Salt to taste

1 Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro


Preheat oven to 375 F.


In a mixing bowl, add  cauliflower, 1/8 cup olive oil and spice blend.  Toss until the florets are coated evenly with the spice blend. Place florets on an oven-safe tray and bake for 20 minutes or until tender.


In a sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add onions, sauté for 5 minutes until lightly golden brown. Add peas, sauté for 5 more minutes.  Turn off heat. Transfer baked florets to the sauté pan, salt to taste. Sprinkle fresh cilantro and serve with naan or rice.
